Replacing the LCD on a 2008 MacBook is not for the feint of heart. Having the correct tools is an absolute must. I made the mistake of not taking the time to purchase the appropriate tools and the entire screen replacement process took me about an hour. Such a pain. But I take full responsibility for that misstep. The LCD screen itself is gorgeous. The color, the brightness and the crispness of images make this a must purchase if your current LCD is damaged. Simply put, I love this product.

I purchased a used MacBook with a screen with some dead pixels and a gouge. Also, the screen was yellowish instead of bright white on the white areas. I researched how I could replace the screen myself and found the screen sold on Amazon had the lowest price. Amazon also sold the tools I would need to replace the screen. The screen arrived in a few days and I was able to replace it after watching some videos on doing it. The new Amazon-purchased LCD screen works great and is bright white! Great product and saves a lot of money doing it yourself!
